Jason Anselment is the General Counsel for the Illinois Association of Park Districts. Jason joined the IAPD in 2010. He serves as the contact for legal questions on park district, forest preserve, conservation and local government issues from members and their local counsel, in addition to serving as Association liaison to the General Assembly. He also serves as liaison to the IAPD/IPRA Joint Legislative Committee, which establishes the Association's legislative platform and coordinates initiatives to promote positive legislation for parks, recreation and conservation. Jason has delivered numerous legal presentations and authored dozens of articles on legal and legislative issues affecting local government agencies. Mr. Anselment and his wife, Katie, are the proud parents of four daughters.
