Jay Morgan joined the IPARKS Board of Directors in 2012.  Mr. Morgan is the Executive Director of South Barrington Park District.  His history with the park district began with summer employment as a teen, learning all aspects of park operations including lawn care, front desk clerk, lifeguard, tennis pro and in 1992, he became the South Barrington Club Manager.  Later, Mr. Morgan was the Facility Manager and was promoted to his current role in 2006.  Under his guidance, the park district has grown from two parks totaling 15 acres to four parks with over 85 acres.  He served as chairman of IPARKS and of the Northwest Special Recreation Association board or directors.  Jay has been a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) for 42 and earned the classification of Elite Professional.  Mr. Morgan earned a Bachelors' Degree in Business Management and Administration in 1976 from Bradley University, where he played four years of collegiate tennis.  He is married to his wife Dena and has three sons.
