Ted has been a commissioner of the New Lenox Community Park District since 2013 and is currently serving as President. During his tenure, several OSLAD grant programs have been completed such as the Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Building and the Walker Country Estates Splash. Ted is currently the Assistant Director of Buildings and Grounds for Orland School District. Many of the issues and challenges faced by school districts are applicable to those encountered by park districts. He is also a local business owner and has worked with budgets and personnel. Ted's passion is that recreation programs and park facilities serve all ages and people of all needs in the community. This past year, he was the recipient of the Rising Star Award from the Illinois Association of Park Districts.
