Mike Boyd has served the Public Entity Risk Services team since 2014.  He has more than 22 years of experience in the safety and insurance field including supervision in risk control, risk consulting, and has also served as a senior risk analyst and senior claims representative. He served as the Lead Safety Coordinator for the Salvation Army during the Hurricane Katrina cleanup efforts in 2005.

 

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kent State University. Mike is OSHA certified, has earned his Advanced Safety certification, CPSI certification, and National Safety Council certification in addition to multiple insurance certifications.  As the Director of Risk Services, Mike is responsible for managing the IPARKS, ICAP, and PEP Risk Service teams while continuing to build member relationships, provide member services, identify hazards, and assist in recommendations to either reduce or eliminate the potential for a loss.
